Calling all aspiring leaders: Toastmasters District 42 is accepting applications for the endless opportunities to get on board the endless opportunities available to serve it members. Nominations open December 1, 2021.

The DLC (District Leadership Committee) seeks to interview many candidates through its 2021-22 selection process. Subsequently, selected nominees will support District 42’s future expansion. Additionally, the leadership service term is July 1, 2022, thru June 30, 2023. Thus, applications are accepted from December 1, 2021, to February 15, 2022.
“Now more than at any other time in our history, future leaders will launch District 42 into new frontiers … We are thrilled to embark on our journey of recruiting leaders.” said Christina Kruis, Immediate Past District 42 Director in a statement. “Besides, current and upcoming generations of leaders should consider missions across District 42. Altogether, District Leadership teams served Toastmasters in Saskatchewan and Alberta since 1948.”
Furthermore, service offers a way to test your leadership capacity to help them achieve their own goals and dreams. Clubs see you as a facilitator for their success. Leaders create enthusiasm, fidelity, and responsibility throughout the District.

Opportunities to Get On Board
Select an office. Get nominated. Take note that any active Toastmaster in good standing in District 42, including yourself, is eligible.
Complete:
- District Leader Nomination Form,
- District Leader Biographical Information, and
- District Leader Agreement and Release Statement.
Then submit it to the District Leadership Committee (d42dlc@gmail.com) before February 15, 2022. The following opportunities are available for the 2022-23 Toastmaster year.
- District Director
- Program Quality Director
- Club Growth Director
- Division Directors:
- Calgary AB – A, C, E, F
- Southern AB – D
- Southern SK – B
- Area Directors
Further, the District Leadership Committee finds, evaluates and recommends appointments to be made by the 2021-2022 District Director.
Additionally, submit a nomination for the following appointed roles until March 15, 2022:
- Area Directors
- Admin Manager
- Finance Manager
- Public Relations Manager
In any event, the elected candidate nomination form submission deadline is February 15, 2022. Thus enabling the election of Officers to take place at the District Council meeting at the Spring Convention on April 29th, 2022.
