All members are encouraged to bring family and friends to join fun with Toastmasters.

We have shelter and tent. It is a rain or shine event for everyone.

Location: Bowness Park Picnic Site 4 with shelter

Date and Time: August 25 between 8:45am -3:00pm

Members and Club Officers: $5 per person

Presenter and Volunteer: free

Non-Toastmasters member: $10

Family rate for family with 3 or more people: $20

Everyone brings your best picnic dish to share with others. Extra $10 if you don’t bring any dish.

9:30-12:30 Club Officer Training

12:30-3:30 fun at the park (all toastmasters members are invited) including prize draw

2:00-3:00pm: Toastmasters demo meeting (Open to public-free)

12-3:00pm: information table for public

Are you getting bored in front of a computer for hours? Let’s have some fun at the Park. We are going to have Club Officer Training and Toastmasters Fun at the park together.

This event is open to everyone in District 42, whether you are a Club Officer, or not.  Leadership Training events allow for gathering information, identifying resources, and learning strategies to get the most out of Toastmasters.

You are welcome to bring family, friends, and coworkers to join the fun event.

To prepare for your Officer Specific training class, please review your role in the Club Leadership Handbook. It will also help you to at least browse the sections for the other club officers. You’ll be working together as a team and understanding the roles of your teammates will help you all to effectively support your club. It would also be a good idea to bookmark or download this handbook and keep it handy for reference during your year of office.
