Calgary Advanced Toastmasters, CATS Workshop

We are excited to have a former First Responder from Calgary speak on his experience as a Firefighter and tell his suspenseful stories.

Shawn Hamilton is a member of MVP Advanced Toastmasters. He is giving a keynote speech from Level 5 in the Presentation Mastery Pathway, “Learning to speak professionally”.

Shawn was a firefighter for approximately 30 years. Firefighters are well known to be good cooks and raising funds through their sales of Fire fighter calendars. Their real job is responding to fires and other emergencies. During Shawn’s career he responded to thousands of calls including house fires, medical calls, traffic accidents, and more. Many of those calls turned out to be different than initially expected. This taught him to expect the unexpected.
