Marketing Incentives

Each year, District 42 creates District sponsored promotions to recognize and encourage your clubs to reach specific milestones and achieve Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goals. The following promotions are based on Marketing Achievements:

  • Toastmasters Promoter Program
  • Speechcraft
  • Open House/Demo Meeting Incentive/Recognition
  • Youth Leadership Program
  • Club Charter Incentives
  • Club Fitness Award
  • Sunshine Club Achievement

Toastmasters Promoter Program


Program activities include: Bring guests, sponsor new members, provide organization contacts, visit other clubs, share information on Toastmasters, show your Toastmasters skills out in the community and help our clubs grow by being a club sponsor, mentor or coach.

The contest is now closed!  Please continue to help the District GROW our community of Toastmasters – support all clubs and build new clubs.


Conduct a Speechcraft program in your club and earn a Speechcraft Ribbon for your club banner.

  • The details of your Speechcraft program (date, number of attendees, and number of new members generated) should be entered by clicking the registration link below to receive your recognition:

Registration for 2016/2017 is now closed. 

  • Speechcraft Kits are available to clubs who have 15 members or less at the time the Speechcraft is conducted. Please contact Area Director to find out how to receive your Speechcraft kit.
  • Remember the Speechcraft Coordinator receives credit toward their ACG award.

Open House/Demo Meeting Incentive/Recognition

Hold a successful open house between July 1 and June 30 and earn an Open House Showcase Ribbon for your club banner.

February and May are Open House Months

Every club who conducts an Open House in February or May, and submits the information to the District, will be entered into a draw for $100 Toastmasters International Gift Certificates to be used to purchase educational or promotional materials.

Youth Leadership Program

Youth leadership program coordinators can enter the details of the program to receive a ribbon.

Club Charter Incentives

Every new club that charters in this Toastmaster year is eligible to receive a free banner and a lectern.

Club Fitness Award

This ribbon is earned by every club that confirms the following information for every member twice per year.

1. Updated Membership Roster

Any club officer can submit this form by accessing Club Central on Toastmaster International Website.

Download the printer friendly version of the club membership roster.  Verify the following information in your roster:

  • Every member is an official paid member.
  • All membership payments have been made.
  • Every member’s information is correct.

2. Club Officer List

  • Download the printer friendly version of the club officers list.
  • Verify that the club officers information is accurate and up-to-date.

3. Submit Your Confirmation to District

Deadline for submissions :

First Round – November 30 – Registration is now closed!
Second Round – May 31 – Registration is now closed!

Sunshine Club Achievement

The Sunshine Ribbon is earned by clubs that plan a minimum of two club meetings in the months of July and August.

To qualify for the Sunshine Ribbon, clubs must meet at least once in July, 2017 and once in August, 2017.  The Sunshine Club meeting dates and times will be posted on the District 42 website.  Don’t forget to update your club website or any other postings regarding any changes to your schedule over the summer.

The deadline for submission is June 30th, 2017.
