Road to Regina
Paving the Way
I am the Education Chair for the District 42 Spring Conference which will be held in Regina,
May 3 – 5, 2024 and I (along with the entire conference committee) have been hard at work planning for a fantastic event!
In 2022 I attended my first-ever District conference which was in Ontario. When I flew out there my mindset was, “This is an opportunity of a lifetime,” and it proved to be life-changing! By attending in person, I made connections that, a year-and-a-half later, have changed the course of my life and led to involvements and connections I never would have had otherwise.
For that reason, I raised my hand to be the Education Chair – to give you the same gift that I received, the opportunity for a life-changing experience.
To promote interest in and enthusiasm for the 2024 conference I am conducting a High Performance Leadership Project titled, “Road to Regina – Paving the Way,” which is a series of four 1-hour virtual events for all District 42 members. Each of these meetings will feature a World Class Speaker along with conference information and promotion. The announcement was made in the December D42 Dispatch and announcements have gone out on Facebook. In addition, the events are listed on the District 42 Events Calendar (links below).
The dates for the “Road to Regina – Paving the Way” events are as follows:
- Saturday, January 6, 2024 @ 10 am SK time/9 am MT time featuring Brahm Memone, Leadership Architect. The Conference keynote speaker will also be announced at this time.

I have both an ask and a challenge for you!
The ask: please share this information with your Club members. My vision is to see at least 100 people at each of the “Road to Regina” meetings; if we get more, that would be even better. Your support of this series will help us generate engagement both for my HPL project and the Conference.
The challenge: Have at least one person from every Club in District 42 attend the Conference in person. That person (or persons) can share the learnings and key takeaways from the conference back to their home Clubs.
To promote this, I am offering three complimentary coaching sessions (valued at $150.00 each). For each Club that sends one or more members to the Conference, the Club names will be put into a random draw after the Conference Registration has closed (one entry per Club). I will contact the three winning Clubs and they can decide which member receives the complimentary coaching session. Alternatively, I have three workshops available and could attend a Club meeting and present the workshop to all members. The choice would be up to the Club.
With your support, we can ensure every Club benefits from the “Road to Regina – Paving the Way” series and the Conference.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. It would be my pleasure to answer any inquiries you may have.
I truly and sincerely appreciate your support of this series and the Conference. These events could be life-changing and I wish for as many members as possible to have the experience I did last year.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
