Leadership Development and Club Officer Training

This event is open to everyone in District 42, whether you are a Club Officer or not.  Leadership Training events allow for gathering information, identifying resources, and learning strategies to get the most out of Toastmasters.

This is the SECOND round of Club Officer Training for the 2025-2026 Toastmaster year.  Officers must attend the training for their role, to receive credit towards the Distinguished Club Program.

Preparation
To prepare for your Officer Specific training class, please review your role in the Club Leadership Handbook.
NOTE: This Club Officer Training will use Zoom Events.
Zoom Events makes it easy to navigate our Club Officer Training.
  • When you join, you’ll first land in the Event Lobby. Think of this as your home base – it shows the schedule, speakers, and all available sessions.
  • From there, you’ll enter the Main Room, where we’ll kick things off together.
  • When it’s time for training sessions, you can return to the Event Lobby and click into the session that matches your role.
  • After each session, you can go back to the Lobby to join the next part of the program.
  • If you’re unsure where to go, the Help Desk in the Lobby will be there to assist you.
  • While in training, do not close your Zoom Web Browser – closing the Zoom web browser would be like leaving the event altogether.
You will receive your own unique Zoom Event Login – do not share your link.
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Virtual doors open & Meet in Event Lobby. We encourage all to go to the Networking Room to start out.
6:30 PM – Event starts in the Main Room
7:30 PM – Event Lobby & then move to your Club Officer Training Session
8:30 PM – Main Room

You must be in attendance for all 3 hours to get credit for training.
