Communication and Leadership Award Recipient: Tyler Smith

District 42 is proud to recognize Tyler Smith with the Communication and Leadership Award, established to honour a leading citizen who demonstrates outstanding communication and leadership skills in their field of expertise and in the community.

After surviving the Humboldt Broncos bus crash and later winning Amazing Race Canada with Kat Kastner, Tyler turned adversity into advocacy. Through his Not Alone Co. clothing line, public speaking, and podcast, he creates safe spaces for conversations about mental health, healing, and community well-being. His courage, compassion, and commitment to helping others reflect the spirit of this meaningful award.

We’ve arranged special conference rates at both hotels, but availability is limited at each location, so we highly recommend booking as soon as possible.
