Celebrating Mentors:

Guiding Stars of Our Toastmasters Journey

Do you know about the District Guiding Star Award? Do you have a mentor in your club who consistently supports and inspires members? Here’s your chance to show appreciation for their dedication and impact!

Mentorship is the cornerstone of personal and professional growth in Toastmasters. A mentor’s guidance can transform a member’s journey from uncertain beginnings to confident leadership. By sharing their expertise and wisdom, mentors create ripples of positive impact that extend beyond individual members to the entire club.

Life, as we often hear, can be divided into three stages: learning, earning, and giving. The seasoned Toastmasters who stay committed to our organization year after year exemplify the spirit of giving. These mentors dedicate their time to:

  • Helping new members navigate meeting roles and the Pathways educational program.
  • Offering constructive feedback on speech content and delivery.
  • Guiding club officers to understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Supporting club meetings and inspiring clubs to achieve Distinguished status.

Why Nominate?

Recognizing your mentor is a meaningful way to celebrate their contributions to your achievement and club’s success.

How It Works

Nominations will be selected based on your club’s performance and the achievements of its members. A maximum of 2 mentors will be honored with the award in each club.
