Closing Reflections
Program Quality Director, District 42
A Meaningful Journey
As this Toastmasters year comes to an end, it’s hard to put into words just how meaningful this journey has been for me. Serving as your Program Quality Director has been more than a role; it has been an experience that has truly touched my heart.
Lessons in Leadership
When I first stepped into this position, I knew it would be a year of growth and challenge. What I didn’t expect was how much I would learn about myself, about leadership, and, most importantly, about people. I’ve learned that leadership is not about titles, it’s about listening, encouraging, lifting others up, and believing in their potential even when they may not yet see it themselves.
Connections That Became Friendships
This past year has introduced me to so many incredible individuals. People who inspired me, supported me, challenged me, and stood beside me. What started as introductions at meetings and events quickly turned into real connections, and for many of you, into friendships that I will truly cherish. Those moments, conversations, laughter, and shared goals are what I will carry with me long after this role ends.
Gratitude to the District Team
To the District leadership team and committee members, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You gave your time, your energy, your creativity, and your passion so selflessly. There were late nights, challenges, and moments where things felt uncertain, but you showed up every single time. I am so grateful to have worked alongside such an incredible team. You made this journey not only successful, but genuinely enjoyable.
Celebrating Our Members
And to every single member of District 42, thank you. Thank you for showing up, for growing, for supporting one another, and for believing in what Toastmasters represents. You are the reason this District is strong. Being able to witness your achievements, your courage, and your progress has been one of the greatest privileges of this past year.
A Heart Full of Gratitude
As I reflect, I feel immense pride, but even more than that, I feel gratitude. Gratitude for the lessons, for the people, for the memories, and for the opportunity to serve a community that truly feels like a family.
A Chapter Closing, A Legacy Continuing
This chapter may be coming to a close, but the impact it has had on me will stay for a lifetime. I leave this role with a full heart, lasting friendships, and so much hope for what the District 42 members will bring to the new Districts.
Thank You
Thank you for trusting me, for supporting me, and for allowing me to be part of something so special.
With gratitude,
Stacey Kaminski,
Outgoing D42 Program Quality Director
