Club Success Plan

A Roadmap for Club Excellence

The Club Success Plan is a helpful resource for the Club Executive Committee and club members to strategically plan and map out how the club will achieve its desired goals within the Distinguished Club Program. The club should work together as a group, creating action plans and measurable checkpoints for each goal. The club should review these things periodically throughout the year. See the Distinguished Dashboard of your club’s progress toward the 10 Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goals.

Presdient's Distinguished 10 goals

The Club Success Plan is a strategic guide developed by the Club Executive Committee, including all seven officers and the Immediate Past President, to help your club thrive. The plan is designed to align with members’ needs and club goals, and it outlines what needs to be done, how, by whom, and by when.

Key Steps to Build a Successful Plan:

– Start with Teamwork – Define how the executive team will communicate, resolve conflict, and stay accountable.
– Set SMART Goals – Evaluate your club’s current status and set specific, measurable goals.
– Create Strategies – Develop actionable strategies and assign responsibilities based on members’ strengths.
– Track and Adjust – Use Club Central to record your plan, monitor progress, and make updates as needed.

Why It Matters:
A well-crafted Club Success Plan fosters collaboration, clarity, and continuity. It encourages officers and members to work together, forming committees if needed, and helps new leaders build on previous accomplishments.

Tips for Success:

– Involve your team and share responsibilities.
– Inspire others with a clear and attainable club vision.
– Use available online reports and resources to guide your planning.
– Review progress regularly and adjust as necessary.

By working as a team, staying organized, and focusing on shared goals, your club can grow, succeed, and earn recognition—all while delivering a great member experience.
