Membership Building Drive

We always aim to run meetings on time, finish speeches on time and reach membership goals on time. In essence, we always try to “Beat the Clock”, hence the name given to this period’s incentives. It is indeed an excellent motivator for finishing the year on time and with impressive numbers. The incentive requires adding five new, dual, or reinstated members with a join date between May 1 and June 30.   Applications and payments must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than June 30.  Adding transfer and charter members does not count towards this credit.

As of writing this article, we have 4 clubs that appear to have already achieved this credit:

Great job to all these clubs.  You are continuing to inspire all of us.

We hope the advertisement that we are running for the district on the radio is making a difference.  Let us be responsive to any inquiries as this is the best way to get more guests to come to our meetings.

To all our clubs, continue to work towards the Beat the Clock incentive and motivate every member to participate. To reiterate a few techniques – spread the word, aim for quality in every meeting, make all your guests comfortable and heard, and build a great rapport with them. Let us finish the year reaching our membership goals on time and with impressive numbers.
