February 2026 Update

As we get into the deepest chill of winter, I am warmed by the wonderful community of our District 42. It was great to see many of you in person at District mid year training thsi month and to connect while learning about how to be a better leader and communicator.

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued dedication and enthusiasm in making our district a thriving community of communicators and leaders. To make sure that your learning journey continues uninterrupted, now is the time to renew your membership.

Membership Renewal Time is Here!

A friendly reminder that membership renewals are due by March 31. Your renewal not only strengthens your club but also ensures that our district can continue providing invaluable resources and opportunities for growth.

Club Growth Summit!

Exciting news! We have a Club Growth Summit session scheduled for February 14 at 9 am-11 am MST (10 am-12 pm CST). This training is perfect for anyone looking to support the main thing, which is the district mission: We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence!

We are looking to invite as many people as possible from D42.  Yes, the entire district!

We will have Dan Arbuckle (Region 3 advisor) to talk about club growth and how D42 stands up to the rest of the region.  We will also have many other speakers to speak about a variety of topics:

  • How Coaching Matters
  • How training of our executives matter
  • Ways to revitalize membership
  • How to get new clubs
  • Volunteer opportunities (The Connect Committee (Cold calls), Club Coach, Club Sponsor, Club Mentor) that are tied to incentives!

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your mentoring skills and impact the future of Toastmasters in our district!

As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make this renewal period an opportunity to reignite your growth and engagement!

Thank you for being an essential part of District 42. Together, let’s continue to empower each other and elevate our skills!

Warm regards,

Stanley Vong
District 42 Club Growth Director, 2025-2026
