New Clubs?

Have you heard? There has never been a better time to be a Toastmaster!

Niche clubs, those serving a corporation or special interest group have sprouted up all over the world. Toastmasters organization is the most economical and effective way to grow the skills needed as a professional and/or as an advocate.

In today’s interconnected world, effective communication has never been more crucial. The ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences is a skill that can open doors in various aspects of life. Whether you’re presenting to industry peers, policymakers, or anyone interested in your subject matter, being a skilled speaker can set you apart and drive positive outcomes.

Many of these clubs are online-only clubs, and they can come into Toastmasters as a club in whatever District has supported them to become a club. What an opportunity for you! What an opportunity for us as a District. It might be your workplace or your passion place, but how cool is it to share this learning and growing environment with people you already interact with, possibly in a place you already engage.

If you have an idea for a new club, or if you have been approached as a current Toastmaster to start a club, please connect with our Club Extension Committee. This group is under Club Growth Director Debbie Stearns, and is chaired by Brad Korbo. Please connect.

This is a requirement of the DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) award and you could have an exciting new Toastmasters experience AND a credit toward this award as well.

New Club Sponsors and New Club Mentors are needed now. There are four of these support people needed for each new club. Go to: (https://d42tm.org/club-extension-committee)
