Rounding the Corner
To a Strong Finish!
District 42 Conference: See You in Lethbridge!
Can you believe it’s already May? This Toastmasters year has flown by, and what a journey it’s been! As we approach the final stretch, there’s so much to celebrate and even more to look forward to.
One of the biggest events of the year is just around the corner, our District Conference on May 2 and 3 in Lethbridge. I truly hope to see as many of you there as possible. It’s a time to reconnect, get inspired, and recognize the incredible progress we’ve made together.
Thank You, Leaders and Clubs, for an Amazing Year
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the clubs, Area Directors, and Division Directors who have worked so hard this year to deliver high-quality, welcoming club experiences. Your dedication to excellence is felt across the district.
Contest Season: You Made It Happen!
A special shout-out to everyone involved in organizing and running the club, area, and division contests—both online and in person. You pulled off a big task with flying colours, and now we’re looking forward to an exciting finish with the District Contest Finals at the conference. Great job, everyone!
23 Clubs and Counting: Distinguished Achievements
As of now, 23 clubs have achieved Distinguished or higher—a huge accomplishment and a testament to your commitment and teamwork. To the clubs who are close, keep pushing! There’s still time. Focus on completing Pathways levels, encouraging members to achieve their goals, and boosting membership efforts. Becoming a Distinguished Club is not just about recognition—it’s something new members take pride in joining.
Support New Members: Start Them Strong in Pathways
Also, please make sure to get your new members enrolled in Pathways. This not only helps our district’s Pathways adoption rate, but more importantly, it increases the value those new members gain from the Toastmasters experience. Pathways is where they’ll grow their skills and confidence, so let’s get them started strong.
Let’s Celebrate Together and Finish Strong!
Thank you again for all the hard work, energy, and heart you’ve brought to this year. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish strong. I can’t wait to celebrate with you in Lethbridge!
