What a BIG month for YLP in D42! We had a wonderful training for potential facilitators on November 1. That recording is on the D42 website (under Programs, Youth Leadership Program, Resources, Youth Leadership Training Videos). We had 5 leaders sharing knowledge! It’s the November 2025 video, and it’s great! 

We just wrapped up an in-person program at the Calgary Bridge Foundation, with Carolyn Kaldy and her team of 9 experienced Toastmasters! Hopefully, we’ll hear more from Carolyn next time!

Olanari Okungbowa, our virtual PRM, is currently running an entirely online program with a public library system in Ontario. Olanari and several of the members of her team (from Calgary) were at our training on November 1. It was satisfying to know the knowledge shared would have an immediate impact on these leaders and the Youth they would be working with.

Elaine Balante has just started a program with the Chinese Community Association. They had a venue and participants, but the day and time did not work for many TMs(!) At the last minute, this crazy, busy Toastmaster decided the program and time were perfect for her and her family!

And, to top it off, I was interviewed by a writer for the Toastmasters magazine. She was interviewing several District Chairs, and has now written her YLP article – we’ll see when and if it comes out!
