When is the D42 Hybrid Conference 2024?
The Hybrid Conference is May 038 – May 05, 2024 – for three (3) nights and one (1) full day.

How do I access the online D42 Hybrid Conference 2024?
Everyone who has registered for the online event will receive access to ZOOM Events after the registration closing date to the email address provided.
Registration LINK is available on each page of the conference website. Everyone MUST register for this event to gain access to this event.
NOTE: The EMAIL ADDRESS that you register with will be your access for online attendees on ZOOM Events.
What do I eat during the conference?
For in-person attendees, meals will be included with your registration. Any special dietary requirements must be indicated at the time of registration.
For online attendees, you will need to make your own meal plan.
How do I register for the conference?
It’s easy. Simply click on the REGISTER HERE button located at the top of each conference website page.
NOTE: For online attendees – the EMAIL ADDRESS that you register with will be your access to the conference on ZOOM Events.
How do I pay for my tickets?
There are several ways to pay for your conference ticket:
E-transfer: d42tmconference@gmail.com must include the attendee name and package type in the message comments.
When is the cutoff for registration?
Early bird pricing will expire: on April 7, 2024, and the registration deadline is Noon on May 1st, 2024.
Can I share my ONLINE registration link?
No…the ZOOM Events registration link is your unique access to the conference. Everyone must register. It’s easy to do and can be accessed on any electronic device.
How do I find out what’s happening and when?
Watch District 42 social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter), this website, and the District Dispatch you receive by email each month to see what’s new with the Conference.
You can help us promote the conference via social media by sharing, liking, and commenting. You can tag our social media accounts and use a number of hashtags (#d42HybridConference2024; #d42toastmasters; etc)
Who can attend the District Council meeting?
If you are Club President, Club Vice President Education, Area Director, Division Director, District Executive, or any club member who holds a proxy vote, you MUST attend this meeting. Otherwise, anyone can attend to observe the District Council meeting.

Do Education/Workshop presenters receive any compensation?
No – it has always been the District’s practice to seek out volunteers from those who are attending from our members’ base who are interested in showcasing their skill sets and knowledge about a particular topic at the conference.
When will the International Speech Contest occur?
The International Speech Contest is on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. The Contest will be live-streamed at the D42 Hybrid Conference 2024.
What does “Where Leaders Are Made” mean?
“Where Leaders Are Made” is the tagline of Toastmasters International, emphasizing its role as a platform for individuals to develop communication and leadership skills. The organization provides a supportive environment where members can practice public speaking, receive feedback, and take on leadership roles within the club structure. The tagline highlights Toastmasters’ mission to empower individuals to become effective communicators and leaders through practice and community support.

How can I volunteer for the conference?
A conference needs a team of volunteers. It’s an opportunity to learn a new skill or network with other members of the District. If you are planning to attend the conference, select “YES” – I am available to Volunteer” on the Registration form.

How can I get a recording of my presentation/speech?
This year the D42 Tech team will not be responsible for recording individuals’ keynotes, speeches or presentations. Individuals will need to make alternative arrangements to have themselves recorded. If they want it public on the D42 website or social media, they can provide the recording to us. This eliminates the need for permission and reduces a lot of effort on the D42 team.
