CEC Action Items

The other half of our district mission is building new clubs. If you know of a community or organization that meets regularly – even informally through WhatsApp or social gatherings – they could be a candidate for a new Toastmasters club!

Recent leads include:

  • A non-profit organization promoting Mexican culture and heritage
  • A group of health and safety professionals
  • Members of the Legacy community in Calgary

We have conducted a market analysis and will be making calls to connect with more potential clubs.

If you have any leads or ideas, or if you’re interested in being a part of this outreach, please contact the Club Extension Committee (CEC):

We are looking for:

  • Volunteers for The CONNECT Crew Committee (Training & recognition provided)
  • Club Sponsors (DTM credit, training, and support available)
  • Club Mentors (DTM credit, training, and support available)

Let’s aim to gather 3-4 leads per division – that’s how we’ll make big things happen!
