What is special about this 15 year old, President’s Distinguished Club, that attracts a wide variety of members, including four who have won District 42 speaking trophies? Our in-person meetings were in a Calgary public library location with great mountain views. In our current, virtual meeting world, we experiment with technology keeping our speeches and meetings new, and entertaining. Check us out, it’s free, no obligation. You won’t win a Ginsu knife, but there will be (virtual) door prizes. |

To the Point Toastmasters Club strives to provide a vibrant, safe place for members and guests to practice and develop their public speaking skills. We have a diverse range of members, including veteran Toastmasters of 22 years, as well as brand new members who are just beginning their journey. Members come to our doors with varying experiences which helps us all learn and develop.
Our Open House runs over three weeks in January, providing plenty of time to come visit. We will attempt to demonstrate the variety of meetings that can be found. It doesn’t need to be the same meeting over and over!
On January 21 we will be holding an impromptu speaking night where everyone in attendance will have an opportunity to give a short speech and also evaluate someone else’s speech.
The Toastmasters program has been tested numerous times since it started. Further, almost of our members would probably agree that they come for the program, but stay for the people. Holding meetings onsourline presented some challenges, but we have supported each other through it all, learning along the way.
We would be excited if you came to join us as we learn from each other. It can be the start of an exciting journey!
