We are delighted with the success District 42 experienced with the latest round of Leadership Training. We truly shifted gears with all of the training taking place online. As a result, the number of Toastmasters who participated across the District exploded. Hence, more members are trained to lead in numerous roles.

When you attend training, you prepare yourself to serve others better. In District 42’s first round of Leadership Training, 73% of the elected club officers were trained and 34 clubs had all seven officers trained. These sessions are designed to increase the effectiveness of Toastmasters so they step up confidently to lead. Subsequently, they are equipped with the tools and network to experience greater success.

Congratulations to the following District 42 Toastmaster Clubs on being 1/2 way to receiving a DCP point by participating in training.

“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.  However, to grow, you need to be open to learning new things.  When you grow as a result of your learning, you can then shift gears, bring it up a notch, and start leading!”

Vincenzo Aliberti
